In this episode of The Parley in all Blue, Mark speaks with Erin Shirley Orey about public health. Erin Shirley Orey is a Project Manager at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she oversees an opioid use disorder grant that funds tele-medicated assisted treatment to clients across the state. She is also the co-founder of the Drs. Aaron and Ollye Shirley Foundation,(The Shirley Foundation), a nonprofit organization established to honor her parents, Dr. Aaron Shirley and Dr. Ollye Shirley, who spent their lives and professional careers concerned with the health and well-being of people in underserved communities.
